Sokin Definitions

Corporate:#

A corporate is an entity that has been onboarded onto the Sokin platform and represents a real world business.

Reseller:#

A Reseller is the entity that can onboard and transact on behalf of the corporates that they onboard.

Corporate Currency accounts:#

A Corporate Currency Account (also known as a CCA) represents a store of funds, in a single currency, for a single corporate. This was previously referred to as a 'Wallet' in the Sokin platform.

Beneficiaries#

A beneficiary is an individual or entity who is the intended recipient of the funds. This can also be commonly referred to as a 'payee'.

Instruction Requests & Instructions#

In order to conduct a transaction on Sokin, an instruction request is posted. A successful instruction request will become an instruction which can be tracked.

Unfunded Instruction#

Unfunded instructions enable the booking of trades and payments without the balance on your Sokin account to fund the payment.
Note: Unfunded instructions are only enabled with contractual agreement.
